Passenger car courses (B)

Compare the different course options and choose the one that suits you best. Once your enrolment is confirmed, you will receive an email with access to the e-learning platform, where you can complete the theoretical studies and monitor the progress of your course.

Each of our course packages includes all the legal elements of driving school.
In addition to the course, it is possible to buy additional driving lessons if required price list according to the price list.

At our Kontiolahti office, you can take any B-course package with a manual/automatic vehicle if you wish. Please write "automatic" in the additional information field on the registration form if you wish to take the course with an automatic.

With a teaching permit?

Are you driving with a learner's permit? We offer pre-customised driving licence packages for those who are taking their driving licence under instruction, which include mandatory risk management training and extensive theory material.

If you wish, you can also combine the B course package you have chosen with the teaching licence and reinforce what you have learned in driving lessons with your instructor in the teaching licence.

Booking driving lessons

You can book your simulator lessons in your student system calendar. You can take simulator lessons at the location of your choice during the control room opening hours (including evenings) from Monday to Saturday.

Driving lessons by car are booked directly with your driving instructor. You can find your instructor's contact details in your student system.

Our Small course package includes the minimum driving school instruction required by law, as well as a risk management course. You can start the driving lessons on a simulator in a safe environment, without the pressure of other traffic.

The training package is ideal for those who already have some experience of traffic, for example on a moped/moped car/kevar.

The course effectively combines driving simulator training with instruction in a passenger car under the guidance of a driving instructor.

The Medium course allows you to flexibly influence the duration of your studies through your own activity. If you wish, you can start your theory studies online immediately after registering.

The Classic course package offers a traditional way to learn driving skills in a passenger car under the guidance of a driving instructor.

Effective simulator training combined with instruction from a driving instructor in traffic has been proven to produce the best learning results. However, if you want to focus solely on driving with an instructor, or if simulator training is not suitable for you, you can choose the Classic course package, which is mainly conducted in a passenger car, with only the risk management course, including slippery road training and night driving, being conducted on a driving simulator.

Moped Courses (AM120)

When can I register?

You can sign up for a moped course from the age of 14. You can apply for a driving licence from the age of 14 (valid for three years).

To obtain a moped licence, you can take the theory test one month before you turn 15. You can take the handling test and driving lessons at the age of 15 at the earliest.

Are you upgrading your current MP card?

If you already have an A1 / A2 driving licence and want to upgrade to a higher category, sign up for the A1->A2, or A2->A upgrade course.

The refresher courses include 2 online theory lessons and 5 driving lessons, after which you will receive a teaching certificate from us. Submit the certificate to the Driving Instruction Centre as an attachment to your driving licence application.

On a refresher course, you do not have to take a theory or driving test.

Training license courses

The training permit course differs from the normal course in the following ways:

You will complete at least 4 driving lessons at the driving school, instead of the usual 5 hours.
Use handling - both independently and in the driving test. You can also purchase handling test use as a service separately during the course from the student application.
After the processing test, you apply for a training permit.
Once you have obtained your learner's permit, you can immediately begin practicing driving independently in traffic. (The learner's permit is valid for three months.)
When you pass the Ajovarma driving test, you will receive your final driver's license.

Note: The customer is responsible for ensuring that their motorcycle meets the inspection requirements.

The theory part of the C1 courses is done online, so you can study whenever it suits you best. Driving lessons are arranged flexibly with your own driving instructor.

- Minimum age 18.

- Please note that you must already have at least a B (passenger car)

- Vehicles other than D1 or D class vehicles with a total mass of more than 3,500 kg but not more than 7,500 kg and designed or manufactured to carry no more than eight people in addition to the driver.

- Vehicle combinations consisting of a C1 category towing vehicle and a towed vehicle with a maximum mass not exceeding 750 kg.
